So I think our hygiene team is really the backbone of our practice. I mean our hygiene team, they are the people that our patients see the most and we really do try in our practice to keep patients with the same hygienist each visit and so I think that helps provide a lot of continuity of care and it also helps establish that relationship with the patient. So the hygienist is going to not only clean your teeth, but the hygienist is going to you know take measurements around your gums to make sure that you don't have periodontal disease or gingivitis.

They're going to be taking x-rays, they're going to be doing oral cancer screenings and they really you know also give oral hygiene instructions on helping you brush your teeth better, helping floss better, giving you different strategies of different tools and techniques that you can use if there's areas that you're missing in your personal hygiene or oral care and they can recommend different toothpaste, whitening options, just really discuss nutrition, discuss your diet and some things that you may be eating or drinking that could be affecting the rate at which you're getting cavities. So our oral hygiene, you know they are really much, they are doing so much more than just cleaning their teeth and they are sometimes therapists for people as well. So they're the backbone of our team.
